Are you an experienced Maintenance Technician looking for your next role? We have an exciting vacancy for a proactive maintenance position focused on compliance to HSEQ and Jotun procedures/standards. You will be required to build good relationships with stakeholders such as the safety team, contractors, operations and research and development.

A sound knowledge of maintenance techniques and procedures will be needed as you help develop and execute maintenance across a range of assets on the site, help drive forward our sustainability initiatives and help us optimise our energy usage.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and work closely with specific maintenance contractors (both electrical and mechanical).
  • Focused on Jotun health and safety requirements and maintenance operating procedures.
  • Ensure we get best value for money and service from our contractors, quality check their work and follow up on outstanding issues.
  • Develop and execute PM tasks and procedures inline within Jotun's HSEQ elements, maintenance guidelines and operational needs.
  • Utilise the IFS computerised maintenance management system to record own work and work of contractors that you are working with, log fault reports and develop new procedures.
  • Drive root cause analysis to look for recurring issues in area of responsibility.
  • Develop risk assessments in line with areas of accountability.
  • Undertake planned maintenance routines and book own spare parts, fault finding mechanical/electrical issues on assets, undertaking repairs or replacing parts to support operations running.
  • Stakeholder communication. Interact and communicate with stakeholders such as local safety team, operations, research and development, contractors.
  • Any other duties as directed by the Maintenance Manager.
Qualifications
  • Apprentice trained Maintenance Technician with NVQ3 Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance or equivalent.
  • HNC/HND in an engineering discipline preferred.
  • Experienced and trained in the use of a CMMS (preferably SAP/IFS).
  • Good electrical maintenance knowledge.
  • Able to communicate and interact with stakeholders at all levels of the business.
