A leading property consultancy is seeking a Project Management Director to take full ownership of its Hotels & Hospitality sector offering. This is a pivotal role, while there is existing business and a trusted client base, the incoming Director will be responsible for developing and expanding the proposition.
This role offers significant autonomy and the chance to shape a service line from the ground up. From driving business development and managing P&L to hiring, mentoring, and leading delivery, this is a unique opportunity for someone looking to lead and grow within a dynamic, collaborative business.
Key Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end project delivery across hotel and hospitality schemes β including new-build, refurbishment, and repositioning
- Own the strategy and performance of the hotel sector offering, including business development, team growth, financial management, and service delivery
- Act as the client lead for key stakeholders β hotel operators, investors, brands, and developers
- Build and mentor a high-performing team of project managers
- Collaborate closely with internal teams across Planning, Agency, Investment and Building Consultancy to ensure seamless delivery
- Serve as the internal and external figurehead for the hotels project management function
- Extensive experience delivering hotel and hospitality projects, ideally across both refurbishment and new-build
- Strong commercial network within the hotel sector β including developers, investors, operators or brands
- Proven ability to win work, lead multidisciplinary teams, and grow a sector offering
- Comfortable managing P&L, shaping strategy, and building a team
- Chartered status (MRICS, MAPM, MCIOB or equivalent) is preferred but not essential
- Entrepreneurial, hands-on, and delivery-focused, with strong leadership skills
