Our client is a fast-growing, international buy-side property company with a portfolio exceeding £1bn AUM, spanning Retail, Residential, and Industrial assets. Ambitious, well-capitalised, and actively expanding, they’re a standout name in the commercial real estate space.

They’re looking to appoint a Commercial Asset Manager to join a high-performing team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives on managing income-producing assets, driving value through lease events, and maintaining best-in-class operational and financial control. Key Responsibilities
  • Lease & Asset Management
    • Lead on lease events including rent reviews, renewals, breaks, and expiries
    • Interpret lease documentation and manage tenant consents
  • Vacant Space & Lettings
    • Appoint and manage letting agents on vacant assets to minimise void periods
  • Financial & Commercial Oversight
    • Review and negotiate Heads of Terms
    • Maintain accurate lease, service charge, and insurance data
    • Work closely with finance teams on reconciliations and forecasting
  • Insurance & Compliance
    • Manage annual insurance renewals and recoverable premium billing
    • Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements, audits, and risk assessments
  • Budgets & Service Charges
    • Prepare, approve, and oversee service charge budgets, demands, and apportionments
  • Projects & Tenant Liaison
    • Act as a key point of contact for tenants during works
    • Review repair and project quotes to ensure alignment with budgets and forecasts
About You
  • 5+ years’ experience in a similar commercial asset management role
  • Strong understanding of commercial leases, legislation, and market best practice
  • Commercially astute with excellent financial awareness
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Confident communicator and negotiator, able to influence stakeholders
  • Comfortable working independently and taking ownership
  • Experience with Qube property management software is advantageous
