A leading UK property consultancy is seeking an accomplished MRICS-Qualified Head of Project Management to lead its London-based team. This is a senior leadership role offering the chance to shape and grow a high-performing team while delivering commercial projects across the private and/or public sector.
The Opportunity
You’ll be responsible for managing a team of five experienced Project Managers, reporting into the National Head of Building Consultancy. The role offers a blend of hands-on project delivery, strategic team leadership, and client relationship management. Sectors include Commercial Offices, Industrial, Retail and Hospitality, with the flexibility to specialise or work across a variety of asset types.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and mentor a team of five Project Managers across London and the South East
- Deliver and oversee high-profile commercial projects from inception to completion
- Act as the key client contact, ensuring best-in-class delivery and repeat business
- Work closely with the National Head of Building Consultancy to shape strategic goals
- Drive new business development and contribute to wider service line growth
- Ensure robust financial management, resource planning, and quality assurance
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture within the team
About You
- MRICS qualified with significant experience delivering commercial real estate projects
- Proven leadership skills, ideally with experience managing or mentoring teams
- Strong knowledge of project delivery across sectors such as offices, retail, industrial, and hospitality
- Commercially astute, client-focused, and confident in new business settings
- Comfortable operating at a senior level within a multidisciplinary environment
