About the Role
We’re working with a well regarded, national property management business as they continue to grow their Manchester team, looking to bring in a Surveying Executive to support their established Surveying function. This is a strong opportunity for someone early in their property career to gain hands on exposure across commercial property management, working closely with experienced Surveyors while taking ownership of elements of a portfolio. You’ll play a key role in the day to day management of assets, supporting both clients and occupiers, while building your technical knowledge across service charge, lease management and compliance.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting Surveyors with the day to day management of a commercial property portfolio
- Assisting with service charge budgets, reconciliations and reporting
- Reviewing leases and maintaining accurate property management systems
- Handling occupier queries and correspondence
- Attending site inspections and occupier meetings
- Supporting with insurance compliance and statutory obligations
- Managing void properties, including insurance and cost control
- Authorising site works alongside the Surveyor
- Producing reports and maintaining document control
- Ensuring compliance with internal policies, RICS standards and statutory requirements

- 1+ year experience in a property management or surveying support role
- Understanding of leases, service charge processes and property systems
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload
- Confident communicator, both written and verbal
