We are working exclusively with a leading global real estate advisory business looking to strengthen its London Building Consultancy team with the appointment of a Chartered Building Surveyor through to Associate Director level. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded team working across some of London's most prestigious commercial property instructions. The successful individual will work with major institutional investors, occupiers, developers and property companies, delivering high quality technical advice across a diverse portfolio of office, industrial, retail, mixed use and alternative assets.

The Role
Working as part of an established Building Consultancy team, you will be responsible for delivering a broad range of professional and project instructions across Central London and the wider South East. You will manage client relationships, lead instructions from inception through to completion and collaborate closely with colleagues across Project Management, Capital Markets, Agency and Asset Management.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver technical due diligence and acquisition surveys for investors and occupiers
- Undertake dilapidations instructions on behalf of both landlords and tenants
- Carry out contract administration and project management of refurbishment and fit out projects
- Prepare planned preventative maintenance reports and technical asset reviews
- Deliver defect analysis, building pathology and reinstatement advice
- Prepare schedules of condition and licence for alteration surveys
- Build and maintain long term client relationships
- Support business development initiatives and identify opportunities to grow existing accounts
- Mentor junior surveyors and contribute to the development of the wider team
About You
You will be a commercially minded Building Surveyor with strong technical knowledge and a genuine desire to develop your career within a market leading consultancy. You will ideally have:
- MRICS qualified
- Experience within a Commercial Building Consultancy environment
- Strong knowledge of professional Building Surveying services
- Exposure to project work including refurbishment and CAT A/CAT B schemes is advantageous
- Excellent client facing and communication skills
- A proactive and collaborative approach
- Full UK driving licence
