The Opportunity
This is a relationship focused Business Development role, centred around following up and nurturing a significant volume of warm leads generated by Senior Global Business Development Directors across multiple international offices. Rather than a cold sales position, this opportunity is about building meaningful connections, developing long term relationships, and supporting the conversion of high quality client opportunities within the workplace design and office fit out market. Working closely with the Head of Client Services, you will play a key role in the front end growth strategy of the business, wearing multiple sales hats and contributing to new project wins. Clear progression pathways are available for ambitious individuals looking to build a long term career in workplace BD.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing and developing warm inbound leads secured by senior global BD leadership
- Building strong relationships with occupiers, landlords, agents, consultants and project stakeholders
- Supporting the full BD lifecycle from initial engagement through to pitch and appointment
- Working hand in hand with the Head of Client Services to secure new business opportunities
- Attending client meetings, networking events and industry functions across the London market
- Maintaining accurate pipeline reporting and CRM activity
- Supporting wider growth initiatives and strategic client engagement plans
Candidate Profile
We are looking for someone with proven experience in the commercial workplace sector, such as:
- Workplace Design
- Office Design and Build
- Fit Out and Refurbishment
- Commercial Office Real Estate
- Workplace Strategy or Project Delivery environments
The ideal candidate will have:
- Prior experience in business development, client engagement or sales support
- Excellent relationship building and communication skills
- Confidence engaging with senior decision makers and stakeholders
- Strong organisation and follow through across multiple live opportunities
- Ambition to progress into a more senior BD or client leadership role over time
