An established global commercial real estate advisory is looking to appoint an MRICS Lease Advisory Surveyor at Associate to Director level to join its growing Bristol based team, covering the South West of England. This is a rare opportunity to join a principal led, privately owned consultancy with a strong UK and international platform, offering genuine autonomy, equity participation and long term career progression.
You will join a well established national Lease Advisory team, working on a strong pipeline of existing instructions while also playing a key role in client development and regional growth. The role offers exposure across the core commercial sectors including industrial, office and retail, alongside close collaboration with agency, investment, valuation, building surveying, service charge, property management and rating teams. This is a career defining opportunity for a lease advisory professional looking to build profile, influence strategy and progress within a high performing but entrepreneurial environment.
Key Responsibilities- Lease Advisory Delivery
- Rent reviews and lease renewals
- Third party expert witness work including arbitration, independent expert, court and PACT matters
- Lease regears, break clauses and wider leasehold strategic advice
- Responsibility for instructions from negotiation through to recommendation and reporting
- Direct client interface and relationship management
- Development of repeat instructions and long term client relationships
- Expansion of new business opportunities across the South West
- Active cross selling of wider advisory services
- Business planning aligned with regional and national objectives
- Fee negotiation, billing and debtor management
- Accurate fee forecasting and reporting
- Contribution to initiatives designed to improve profitability
- Working closely with colleagues across agency, investment, valuation, building surveying, rating and management
- Supporting wider business objectives and regional growth strategy
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong UK commercial lease advisory background
- Proven delivery of substantial instructions, ideally within the South West
- Demonstrable contribution to revenue growth and profitability
- Established market presence and client relationships
- Commercially minded with strong negotiation and advisory skills
