About the Role

Our client is looking for a proactive and experienced Health & Safety Manager to lead their safety strategy and ensure a culture of continuous improvement across all areas of our business. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain the company's Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies and management systems.
  • Ensure compliance with all current legislation, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments, implementing corrective actions where necessary.
  • Deliver safety training and toolbox talks to staff and contractors.
  • Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and the development of preventative measures.
  • Provide expert advice to management on all aspects of health, safety, and environmental performance.
  • Drive engagement and foster a strong safety culture throughout the organisation.

About You

  • NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) and membership of IOSH (GradIOSH / CMIOSH preferred).
  • Proven experience in a Health & Safety management role, ideally within construction, manufacturing, logistics, or a relevant sector.
  • Strong understanding of UK H&S legislation and practical application in the workplace.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • A hands-on, proactive approach with strong problem-solving ability.
