Hourly Rate - £35.00 - £30.00 per hour DOE

Our client is a growing landscaping company known for delivering high quality outdoor environments for commercial and residential clients. From complete garden builds to large-scale site projects, they take pride in craftsmanship, reliability, and great customer service and now are looking to expand our team with an experienced Commercial Fencer.

The Role

As a Commercial Fencer, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of fencing systems on commercial and large residential projects. You will work both independently and as part of a skilled team to ensure work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install commercial and domestic fencing (e.g., closeboard, panel, post & rail, security fencing, gates).
  • Operate relevant tools and machinery safely.
  • Carry out ground preparation, setting posts, concreting, and finishing work.
  • Read and work from site plans and measurements.
  • Maintain a clean and professional work environment on-site.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, site supervisors, and clients.
  • Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in fencing, groundwork, or landscaping.
  • Confidence using power tools and fencing equipment.
  • Ability to carry out physically demanding outdoor work in all weather.
  • Full UK driving licence (preferred).
  • CSCS card (advantage but not essential).
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
