We are currently recruiting for a Senior Land Referencer to join a growing infrastructure team based in Birmingham. This is an exciting opportunity to work on some of the UKβs major infrastructure schemes as part of an experienced and supportive land referencing division. You will be joining a well-established team with a strong track record in delivering quality services across nationally significant projects. Key Responsibilities: Geo-referencing and digitising features from CAD or paper plans into ArcGIS Conducting desktop and contact referencing of affected parties Managing, collecting, interpreting, and analysing land data Maintaining accurate datasets in land referencing systems Producing and quality checking legal documentation including order plans, notices, schedules, and books of reference Carrying out site visits, including door knocking and posting notices Communicating with members of the public and clients professionally and sensitively Assisting with task allocation and mentoring of junior team members Supporting project management with time recording and monthly invoicing Attending client and stakeholder meetings as required About You: A relevant degree in geography, planning or a related field, or equivalent experience Solid understanding of land referencing processes, including production of books of reference, order plans, and statutory notices Experience with projects involving compulsory purchase powers (e.g. Planning Act, CPO Act, TWAO) would be beneficial Proficient in GIS software (ideally ArcGIS) Confident in managing and interpreting land ownership data Experience supporting or leading junior team members is desirable Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel for site work across urban and rural areas Whatβs On Offer: Join a respected and fast-growing infrastructure team Work on nationally significant infrastructure projects Supportive environment with structured development opportunities Competitive salary and benefits package
