The Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and commercially minded Human Resources Business Partner to join their HR team on an interim basis. This role will work closely with senior leaders to provide strategic and operational HR support, helping to drive people initiatives that align with business objectives. As a trusted advisor, you will support managers across the full employee lifecycle, influencing leadership decisions and supporting organisational performance and culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with senior leaders to deliver HR strategy aligned to business goals
- Provide expert advice on employee relations, performance management, and absence
- Support organisational change, restructures, and workforce planning
- Coach and develop managers to build leadership capability
- Lead on key HR projects and initiatives, including engagement and wellbeing
- Ensure HR policies and practices are applied consistently and compliantly
- Use people data and insight to inform decision-making
- Support talent management, succession planning, and development initiatives
About You
- Proven experience in a Human Resources Business Partner or similar advisory role
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
- Confident working with senior stakeholders and influencing at all levels
- Commercially aware with a pragmatic, solutions-focused approach
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Desirable
- CIPD qualified (Level 5 or above) or working towards
- Experience within [sector – e.g. property, professional services, corporate, public sector]
- Experience supporting change and transformation projects
