ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an organised and proactive HR Administrator to join our clients team, providing first-line support to colleagues across the business. You will be the friendly, reliable point of contact for HR queries, keeping our clients shared inbox running smoothly, triaging requests, and pointing people toward the right guidance and resources. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in getting the details right, and wants to build a strong foundation in HR operations within a supportive team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support with the creation of standardised responses to queries
  • Monitor and manage the shared support mailbox
  • Triage incoming queries and respond where appropriate
  • Signpost colleagues to relevant guidance materials, resources, and training
  • Escalate more complex issues to the appropriate teams when required
  • Support the updating of resources, e.g. FAQ documentation based on queries received

ABOUT YOU

You will be a clear communicator with a genuine interest in HR, comfortable managing a busy inbox and juggling multiple queries at once. You'll bring a calm, methodical approach, good judgement about when to handle something yourself versus escalate it, and a willingness to keep resources and guidance materials up to date and useful for the wider team.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in an HR administration, HR shared services, or customer service/query-handling role
  • Strong written communication skills, with the ability to explain things clearly and professionally
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach, with good judgement on when to escalate
