A leading UK property consultancy is seeking an Associate Building Surveyor to join its established London Building Consultancy team. This opportunity would suit an experienced Chartered Building Surveyor looking to take the next step in their career within a highly respected consultancy environment. The role offers exposure to a broad range of professional and project led surveying instructions, working across a diverse portfolio of commercial property assets for institutional, corporate and private clients.

As an Associate, you will play a key role in client delivery, project management, business development and the mentoring of junior team members, while contributing to the continued growth of an ambitious and well regarded Building Consultancy practice.

The Role
  • Deliver a broad range of professional and project based building surveying services
  • Lead refurbishment, fit out and capital works projects from inception through to completion
  • Undertake technical due diligence, dilapidations, defect analysis and other professional instructions
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and key stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities for business development and cross selling services
  • Support and mentor junior surveyors through their APC and professional development
  • Contribute to the strategic growth of the wider Building Consultancy team
About You
  • MRICS qualified Building Surveyor
  • Experience operating at Senior Surveyor or Associate level within a consultancy environment
  • Strong technical knowledge across both professional and project work
  • Excellent communication and client management skills
  • Commercially aware with an interest in developing client relationships
  • Ambitious and motivated to progress your career within a growing team
