Our client is now seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to join our dynamic team and help drive forward our ambitious growth plans. Your Role

As Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for shaping and delivering the commercial strategy across all utility connection projects. You’ll be a key figure in contract negotiation, cost management, and project profitability, working alongside a passionate and growing team to ensure excellence in delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement commercial strategies aligned with company growth targets
  • Lead tendering and estimation for multi-utility connection projects
  • Manage contract negotiations, ensuring favourable outcomes for the business
  • Oversee project budgets, forecasting, and cost control
  • Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure commercial objectives are met
  • Maintain and grow client relationships and key stakeholder engagement
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities
  • Provide detailed commercial reports and insights to senior leadership

What We’re Looking For

  • Degree-qualified in Business, Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of commercial experience in utilities or construction
  • Strong understanding of electricity, gas, and water connections
  • Proven ability to negotiate contracts and manage tenders successfully
