Salary - £30,000 - £32,000 DOE

Job Type - FTC 6 Months Initially

We are looking for a highly organised, detail-focused Interview Scheduler/Recruitment Coordinator to join our clients busy recruitment team. This is a fast-paced, people-facing role at the heart of the hiring process and you will be the person keeping candidates and hiring managers all moving in the same direction, making sure every interview happens on time and every candidate has a smooth, professional experience.

The Role

  • Coordinating and scheduling interviews between candidates and clients/hiring managers, managing multiple diaries and time zones where required
  • Acting as the main point of contact for candidates throughout the interview process, confirming details, sending reminders, and handling last-minute changes
  • Liaising closely with recruitment consultants to ensure interview requirements, formats, and availability are clearly understood
  • Maintaining accurate, up-to-date candidate and interview records within the CRM/ATS
  • Preparing interview packs, confirmation emails and any supporting documentation
  • Chasing feedback from clients and candidates in a timely manner, keeping the process moving
  • Managing room/video call bookings and troubleshooting basic scheduling conflicts
  • Supporting the wider team with general recruitment administration, including offer paperwork, reference requests, and onboarding documentation where required
  • Flagging scheduling risks or bottlenecks early, and proactively solving problems before they become issues

What Our Client is Looking For

  • Previous experience in a scheduling, administration, coordination, or recruitment support role
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and shifting diaries simultaneously
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and comfortable liaising with candidates and hiring managers at all levels
  • A proactive, can-do attitude, with the confidence to chase people for information without being asked twice
  • High attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when working under time pressure
  • Comfortable using CRM/ATS systems, calendar tools (Outlook/Google Calendar), and video conferencing platforms (Teams, Zoom, etc.)
  • A calm, adaptable approach, things change quickly in recruitment and you will need to keep pace
  • Experience within a recruitment agency or in-house talent team is desirable but not essential
