An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Chartered Valuation Surveyor to join one of the UK's most respected property consultancies within its established Commercial Valuations team in Cambridge.

This role offers exposure to a diverse range of commercial property valuations across Cambridgeshire and the wider Eastern region, working with a broad client base that includes lenders, investors, public sector organisations, educational institutions and private clients.

The Role

  • Undertake commercial property valuations for loan security, financial reporting, tax and internal decision-making purposes.
  • Inspect a wide variety of commercial assets across multiple sectors.
  • Carry out market analysis, comparable research and due diligence investigations.
  • Prepare detailed valuation reports in accordance with RICS Valuation Standards.
  • Support the delivery of large-scale valuation projects for public sector and educational clients.
  • Build and develop client relationships while identifying opportunities to grow the valuation offering across the Eastern region.
  • Work closely with colleagues across planning, development, rural and wider commercial property teams.

About You

  • MRICS qualified and a Registered Valuer.
  • Experience within commercial property valuation, either post-qualification or through a strong APC background.
  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of valuation methodologies.
  • Commercially aware with excellent communication and client-facing skills.
  • Motivated to develop your career within a leading national property consultancy.
  • Full UK driving licence.
