A leading national property consultancy is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor or Associate Director to join its established Cost Consultancy team in London. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Chartered Quantity Surveyor looking to take the next step in their career within a highly respected consultancy environment. The successful individual will play a key role in delivering cost management services across a diverse range of commercial property projects while helping to drive the continued growth of the London team.
Working closely with investors, developers, occupiers and property companies, you will lead commissions from inception through to completion, providing strategic cost advice and ensuring successful project delivery.
The Role
- Deliver comprehensive quantity surveying and cost management services across a diverse project portfolio
- Prepare cost plans, budgets, estimates and feasibility studies
- Manage procurement processes, tendering exercises and contract administration duties
- Provide strategic commercial advice throughout the project lifecycle
- Monitor project costs, manage risk and deliver accurate financial reporting
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted adviser on key projects
- Support business development activities and contribute to the growth of the wider Cost Consultancy team
- Mentor and develop junior surveyors, supporting their professional and technical progression
About You
- MRICS qualified Quantity Surveyor, or working towards chartership
- Experience delivering cost consultancy services within a consultancy environment
- Strong commercial awareness and client management skills
- Proven ability to manage projects and client relationships independently
- Experience across commercial property projects, including refurbishment and development schemes
- Ambitious, driven and motivated to progress into a senior leadership position
