An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Senior Property Management Surveyor to join a large commercial property company with a substantial portfolio under ownership and management.

Our client holds a significant and growing portfolio of commercial property, spanning a range of retail, industrial and mixed-use assets.

Key responsibilities include:

• Taking ownership of the day-to-day property management of a varied commercial portfolio of retail, industrial and mixed-use assets.
• Acting as the landlord's senior point of contact for occupiers, from national businesses to local independents.
• Driving income through proactive management, including lease renewals, rent reviews, lettings, arrears and service charge oversight.
• Working closely with internal asset management, surveying and finance colleagues to maximise asset value and minimise void periods.
• Identifying and delivering asset management initiatives, refurbishments and value-add opportunities across the portfolio.
• Overseeing compliance, health and safety, and property maintenance across your assets.
• Supporting the onboarding of new assets into the managed portfolio.
• Mentoring and developing junior surveyors and property managers.

About You

We're looking for an experienced commercial property management surveyor who combines strong technical knowledge with a commercial, landlord-focused mindset.

You will ideally have:

• Significant experience managing multi-let commercial property, ideally across retail and industrial assets.
• Solid knowledge of landlord and tenant law, lease events and service charge management.
• Experience gained either client side or within a consultancy managing portfolios for institutional or private landlords.
• Strong negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A proactive, commercial approach with the confidence to take ownership of a portfolio and its performance.
