A JOSEPH Stockroom Assistant is responsible for the flow of merchandise from a central point of delivery in our stockroom to the retail sales floor. As a Stockroom Assistant, you will be responsible for managing the stockroom and deliveries, ensuring the appropriate levels of merchandise is available on the shop floor.
Contribute to the profitability of the retail operation by receiving, handling, and managing the inventory of merchandise and supplies in a timely and organised manner.
- Check merchandise and supply deliveries for accuracy and verify that the quantity received matches the packing note and delivery paperwork.
- Decrease store shrinkage by investigating inventory discrepancies and reporting suspicious activities to the store management team.
Excellent communication skills across all communication platforms - email, instant messenger, and telephone.
