As Assistant Merchandiser, you will support the Senior Merchandiser with a range of responsibilities including planning, sales analysis, stock management and in-season trading. You will help to ensure the right products are in the right places at the right time, supporting the delivery of sales and margin targets across all DTC channels. Planning & Strategy Support the Senior Merchandiser with pre-season planning, including size curves, store analysis, and channel allocations Prepare and update planning documents and tools to ensure alignment with financial targets and stock strategy Trading & Stock Management Monitor in-season performance to identify risks or opportunities and propose trade actions to Senior Merchandiser Prepare and manage initial allocations, replenishment, and consolidations by channel, ensuring optimal stock distribution Partner with Ecommerce and Retail teams to maximise sell-thru and ensure timely product launches Manage delivery schedule, flagging risks and delays to ensure product launches and allocations remain on track Assist with seasonal markdown preparation, aligning actions to margin targets and brand positioning Review stocks with the Senior Merchandiser ensuring sufficient levels by store according to current trade and forecasts Ensure all price changes are uploaded ahead of MD activity and communicated to IT, Retail and Ecommerce and un-ranging of stores is completed to meet legal requirements. Work with Retail and Logistics teams to support efficient stock movements and end-of-season returns Reporting & Analysis Own weekly and seasonal reporting, providing clear insights and commercial recommendations to the Senior Merchandiser Contribute to trading meetings and present performance updates as required Carry out ad hoc analysis to identify risks and opportunities across the assortment Analyse large datasets using Excel (e.g., Assist in reforecasting sales, intake and OTB based on trading conditions Maintain accurate system data, including pricing, allocations, and delivery schedules Develop a solid understanding of internal systems, including BI reports. Excel tools and ERP platforms Support cross functional communication across Buying, Supply Chain, Ecommerce, and Retail to support trading goals Manage, guide and prioritise daily and weekly workload for the Merchandise Admin Assistant (MAA) Excellent Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.) We never cut corners or sacrifice on our quality or our principles.
