Introduction
We're seeking compassionate and resilient individuals to join the JRHT Care Assistant team at New Lodge. There is both residential and domiciliary accommodation available at New Lodge, a thriving community in New Earswick that provides care accommodation for people aged 55 and over: it is a sanctuary for those looking to lead independent lives. The genuine sense of community and togetherness felt among our staff here is what makes it such a great place to work. Along with assisting residents and helping with day-to-day tasks, you’ll really get to know the people you support and become a familiar face to them and their relatives.

Shift Patterns
Shifts at New Lodge are 7.5 hours (including an unpaid 30-minute break). Early shifts start at 7:00am and late shifts at 1:00pm (residential care). Part-time roles are 4 shifts a week (28 hours in total).

Essential Requirements
- Right to Work – sponsorship is not available for these roles, you must have the legal right to work in the UK
- DBS – these roles will be subject to a successful DBS check that covers regulated activity
- Care experience – at least 6 months experience providing personal care and support in a paid or voluntary care setting
