Hours: 35 hours per week: 21 hours as Care Assistant and 14 hours as Care Team Senior.

Term: Permanent.

Salary: Care Assistant: £13.87 to £14.53 per hour, depending on qualifications and Care Team Senior: £17.06 per hour.

The role of Care Team Senior is to provide relationship centred leadership and direction to the care team as a shift leader. It brings with it the need for flexibility and resilience as well as thorough working knowledge of safeguarding, compliance and health and safety, within an adult social care setting.

You will have substantial experience in care delivery, ideally with older people. You will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, maintaining standards and ensuring that quality, compliance, and safety are prioritised.

Here are some of the qualities that we look for:

  • Naturally motivated by helping other people.
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills and the adaptability to excel in different situations.
  • Ability to effectively use IT, including Outlook, Word and basic Excel.
  • QCF/NVQ Level 2 (and be willing to work towards Level 3).
