The purpose of this role is to ensure effective delivery of the Transforming Wealth Lab programme, translating the strategy, mission and values of the Lab into meaningful stakeholder relationships, impactful field building, practical operational plans and thoughtful funding practices. You’ll help us show that JRF, as a mission-driven funder, wealth holder and social change organisation, can model relationality, flexibility and partnership to support the evolution of a growing field.
More, you’ll help to deliver a robust field-building approach and demonstrate how a funder can contribute their full range of skills and expertise (beyond just funding) to the field. We want to hear from candidates who can navigate complexity and uncertainty with curiosity and creativity, juggling many different moving parts, anticipating risks and challenges, identifying a path forward with partial or ambiguous information, and generatively engaging with conflict and power dynamics to build trust and hold the radical intention of the programme alive.
You must have an extensive track record of ambitious partnership building, start-up leadership, programme delivery, and/or community organising, and bring a high level of competence in project and programme management techniques, as well as excellent communication skills in a range of domains. An understanding of empirical research methods and/or innovation processes is essential, and you will be able to synthesise multiple sources of information into high-impact outputs. Knowledge of inclusive facilitation, participatory design, and a deep commitment to intersectional social, environmental and economic justice are all essential.
