About the role
JRHT have recently invested in a suite of Civica systems to support the management of housing, assets, repairs and compliance functions. A key focus of this role will be to deliver ongoing training for these systems, alongside all existing platforms used across JRHT. The role will be responsible for developing and embedding a sustainable, organisation-wide approach to systems training, ensuring it aligns with broader learning and development activity.
Working as part of the Learning & Organisational Design function and reporting to the L&D People Business Partner, this role will ensure systems training is aligned with wider organisational development priorities. You will play a key part in the development and implementation of a structured systems training framework, designing and delivering engaging, high-quality training that enables confident and effective system use. This will include analysing training needs and system adoption data to identify knowledge gaps and prioritise interventions, as well as comprehensive training plans for new system implementations, upgrades and process changes to ensure learning is timely, accessible and aligned to business needs.
Working closely with Systems Owners, Service Managers and Operational Leads, you will build strong relationships to ensure training reflects operational requirements while developing and maintaining subject matter expertise across JRHT’s core systems. The postholder will create and regularly review a range of high-quality training materials, including written guides, visual resources and recorded content, and will establish a well-organised, accessible and version-controlled training repository to support self-service learning.
About you
We are looking for a candidate with experience in designing and delivering training across a variety of systems to a diverse range of end-users, alongside a strong track record of producing high-quality training materials in multiple formats. You will be able to design inclusive learning solutions that cater to different user needs and varying levels of digital confidence and demonstrate effective facilitation and presentation skills in both in-person and virtual settings.
The role requires someone who can build strong working relationships with colleagues across different teams, business areas and seniority levels, while also being comfortable learning new technology systems in a developing environment and accurately documenting any changes. You will be organised, methodical and detail-oriented in your approach to work, with a genuine willingness to understand the environment in which you are delivering training. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
Our core priority
