Hours: Full‑time (33 hours per week) and Part‑time (22 hours per week) positions available
Salary: £17.06 per hour. Receive 10% extra per hour for hours worked between 11pm and 7am on Nights!

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join the JRHT care team as Care Team Seniors on Nights within our Hartrigg Oaks care retirement community. Hartrigg Oaks is a continuing care retirement community enabling people aged 60 plus to remain independent and live life to the full. The role of Care Team Senior is to provide relationship‑centred leadership and direction to the care and ancillary team as a shift leader. You’ll also ensure a safe, effective, caring and well‑led service to our residents and their families.
About you
- Experience in the delivery of care, especially with older people
- Good working knowledge of compliance within a care setting, including safeguarding, incident reporting, medications management and health and safety
- Ability to effectively use IT, including Outlook, Word and basic Excel
- QCF/NVQ Level 2 (and be willing to work towards Level 3)
- A great listener with excellent communication skills
- The ability to be decisive and remain calm under pressure
Essential Requirements
- Right to Work – sponsorship is not available for these roles, you must have the legal right to work in the UK
- DBS – these roles will be subject to a successful DBS check that covers regulated activity
- Care experience – at least 6 months experience providing personal care and support in a paid or voluntary care setting
