Hours: 35 hours per week: 21 hours as Care Assistant and 14 hours as Care Team Senior
Term: Permanent
Salary: Care Assistant: £13.87 to £14.53 per hour, depending on qualifications and Care Team Senior: £17.06 per hour
About the role: New Lodge is a thriving community in New Earswick that provides care accommodation for people aged 55 and over - a sanctuary for those looking to lead independent lives. Along with assisting residents and helping with day‑to‑day tasks, you’ll really get to know the people you support and become a familiar face to them and their relatives.
Service delivery: This role ensures a safe, effective, caring and well‑led service to our residents and their families, at New Lodge.
Leadership: The role of Care Team Senior is to provide relationship centred leadership and direction to the care team as a shift leader. It is a busy role, and no two days will be the same. It brings with it the need for flexibility and resilience as well as thorough working knowledge of safeguarding, compliance and health and safety, within an adult social care setting.
About you: You will have substantial experience in care delivery, ideally with older people. You will be comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment, maintaining standards and ensuring that quality, compliance, and safety are prioritised.
