\nWe are currently looking for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver with HIAB to join our friendly and supportive team.\n
\n
\nThe Role\n
\n
\nAs an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of building materials to customers throughout the North West. This is a multi-drop role that requires excellent driving skills, a strong focus on customer service, and a commitment to safety.\n
\n
\nKey Responsibilities\n
\n
\n Carry out multi-drop deliveries across the North West.\n
\n Safely load, transport, and unload building materials.\n
\n Operate a HIAB (lorry loader crane) to off-load deliveries where required.\n
\n Complete manual handling and handballing duties when necessary.\n
\n Conduct daily vehicle checks and ensure compliance with all transport regulations.\n
\n Provide outstanding customer service and represent Joseph Parr Limited professionally at all times.\n
\n Work closely with the transport and branch teams to ensure deliveries are completed efficiently.\n
\n
\nWorking Hours\n
\n
\n Monday to Friday: 8:00am - 5:00pm (including a one-hour lunch break).\n
\n Saturday mornings: 7:00am - 11:00am on a rota basis.\n
\n
\nWhat We're Looking ForEssential\n
\n
\n Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.\n
\n Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.\n
\n Previous multi-drop delivery experience.\n
\n Strong awareness of road safety and transport regulations.\n
\n Good communication and customer service skills.\n
\n Reliable, professional, and team-oriented attitude.\n
\n
\nDesirable\n
\n
\n HIAB licence/certification.\n
\n Experience working within the builders' merchant, construction, or building materials sector.\n
\n
