Social Content Creator & Producer

We're looking for a highly creative, hands-on content creator who can take an idea from concept through to final delivery.

You’ll be responsible for developing social-first creative ideas, creating treatments and storyboards, filming content, directing creators and talent, editing assets and delivering platform-ready content across our social channels.

Alongside content creation, you’ll also manage production planning and shoot execution, ensuring content is delivered on time and to the highest creative standards.

You’ll work closely with Brand, Creative and Social teams to create engaging content that supports product launches, brand campaigns, cultural moments, creator partnerships and always-on social storytelling.

This role is ideal for someone who is equally comfortable developing concepts, operating a camera, editing content and managing productions.

What you’ll be doing:

Content Creation & Creative Development

• Developing social-first content ideas that align with campaign objectives, product launches and brand priorities.
• Creating treatments, storyboards and shot lists for social content.
• Identifying opportunities for trend-led, reactive and culturally relevant content.
• Translating campaign creative into social-first executions that feel native to each platform.
• Helping shape the visual and creative direction of Joseph Joseph's social presence.
• Contributing ideas that help evolve the Joseph Joseph brand across social channels.
• Personally filming content using both professional camera equipment and iPhone.
• Capturing product demonstrations, lifestyle content, behind-the-scenes moments, creator content and campaign assets.
• Directing creators, influencers, talent and contributors during shoots.
• Leading shoot execution while maintaining high creative and production standards.
• Managing production logistics including schedules, call sheets, locations, permissions and usage rights.
• Working independently on smaller content captures while supporting larger campaign productions.

Editing & Asset Creation

• Editing engaging social-first video content using CapCut, Premiere Pro or similar editing platforms.
• Creating platform-native content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and emerging social channels.
• Producing multiple cutdowns, adaptations and content variations from larger shoots.
• Applying strong visual storytelling, pacing and platform best practices to all content.
• Creating simple graphic assets for social including:
  • Reel covers
  • Thumbnails
  • Story assets
  • Text-led creative
  • Basic motion graphics
• Working closely with the Social Media Manager on content planning and creator partnerships.
• Collaborating with Brand, Creative and Product Marketing teams to support wider campaign activity.
• Maintaining visibility of content needs, production schedules and delivery timelines.
• Sharing creative inspiration, social trends and emerging platform opportunities with the wider team.
• Monitoring competitor activity and identifying opportunities to improve content effectiveness.

What we need from you:

• A portfolio demonstrating that you have personally concepted, filmed, edited and delivered social-first content.
• Proven experience creating content for social platforms within a brand, agency, publisher or creator environment.
• Strong videography skills, including confidence operating camera, lighting and audio equipment.
• Advanced editing skills using CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro or equivalent editing software.
• Experience creating content using both professional camera equipment and mobile devices.
• Ability to turn a brief into a finished piece of content from concept through to final edit.
• Experience developing treatments, storyboards and creative concepts.
• Strong visual storytelling skills and excellent creative judgement.
• Basic graphic design skills and confidence creating social assets using Adobe Creative Suite and/or Figma.
• A deep understanding of social media culture, platform behaviours, content trends and emerging formats.
• Experience directing creators, influencers, or talent.
• Strong organisational and project management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working within lifestyle, design, interiors, consumer goods or retail brands.
• Experience creating content for premium brands.
• Motion graphics experience.
• Experience connecting with briefing creators.
