We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Kitchen Design Assistant to join our studio in Arundel. This is an ideal opportunity for someone at the beginning of their career with a genuine passion for interiors, design and beautiful living spaces. No formal qualifications are required; we value creativity, willingness to learn, and an eye for great design.
The role involves supporting the design process by creating visual layouts, assisting clients, and ensuring clear communication between the design team and customers.
Responsibilities- Assist with the preparation of kitchen design packages: technical drawings, hand-drawn sketches and mood boards.
- Produce and refine drawings using SketchUp and Mosaik, alongside hand-drawn sketches and concept illustrations.
- Translate creative ideas into drawings, leveraging strong sketching and drawing skills.
- Support the design team with product research, material selections, and presentation boards reflecting the studio's distinctive design aesthetic.
- Provide administrative support to ensure projects are organized and managed efficiently through the design, creation and installation process.
- Build positive relationships with clients, communicating with confidence, professionalism and warmth to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
- Genuine passion for interior design and beautifully crafted spaces.
- Appreciates and understands luxury timeless design and premium materials.
- Enjoys sketching and drawing and can communicate ideas visually.
- Experience with or eagerness to develop skills in SketchUp and Mosaik.
- Meticulous, organized, and committed to producing work of the highest standard.
- Personable, confident, and able to work closely with clients and colleagues.
- Proactive, eager to learn, and committed to delivering a high level of service.

Skills- Proficiency in SketchUp and CAD software for creating accurate kitchen designs is advantageous and can be taught.
- Ability to upsell products or services while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple projects.
- Basic maths skills for measurements, calculations, and cost estimations.
This is an in-house position based in Arundel. Hours: Monday to Friday 9:00–17:00. Pay: From £12.71 per hour. Work Location: In person.
