The role will be a circa 6-month contract to start but will likely lead to a permanent role. An exceptional opportunity for an experienced Assistant Accountant to join an International Engineering organisation in this newly created office-based role.
You must have 3 years + UK accounting experience.
Main responsibilities:
- Assist the Company accountant in all aspects of the day-to-day accounts and support the sales and purchase ledger functions.
- Assist with any accounting entries up to trial balance stage.
- Financial statements including P&L, Balance Sheet & Cash flow forecasting as required.
- Setting up reporting and schedules in Sage 200.
- Provide cover for both the accountant and sales and purchase ledger clerks.
The Assistant Accountant Finance Assistant is likely to be AAT or ACCA part Qualified.
This is a Part time role and you must live in or near South Wales.
You must also have:
- The permanent right to work in the UK.
- A minimum of 3 years + experience in a UK Accounting role.
Travel to work from; Pontypridd, Caerphilly, Blackwood, Newbridge, Ystrad Mynach, Treforest, Cwmbran, Aberdare, Cardiff, Newport.
