We are currently recruiting for several Spider Crane Operatives to join our West London team.
As the Spider Crane Operative, you will be required to:
- Operate travelling or stationary overhead cranes to lift, move, and position loads, such as machinery, equipment, products, and materials.
- Manipulate or depress crane controls to regulate speed and direction of crane and hoist movement according to instructions.
- Clean and maintain the crane and hoisting mechanism.
- Inspect the crane for defective parts and notify the supervisor of any defects or malfunctions.
To be successful in this position the Spider Crane Operative must have:
- Safety Critical Medical
- Blue CPCS Card – A66 Compact Spider Crane
- Knowledge of civils construction practices, lifting plant and equipment
- Understanding of relevant information relating to different types of lifting accessories, i.e. markings, certificates, and thorough examination reports, etc.
- Knowledge of maintenance, inspection, thorough examination and testing requirements for lifting equipment and accessories
- Minimum 6 months experience operating a Spider crane
