Hours: 12 hours
Salary: Competitive (DOE)
As the Site Agent, you will be responsible for:
- Managing and overseeing daily operations on the site as per the contract drawings and ensuring regular checks are carried out
- Reviewing plans, drawings, and quantities for accuracy
- Ensuring that quality control requirements are met and recorded in accordance with the Client specification
- Providing leadership and addressing any technical challenges that arise on site
- Coordinating and conducting pre-start site surveys
- Guaranteeing a timely handover of works and quality records without outstanding defects, in close collaboration with the Project Manager and installation teams
- Maintaining and enforcing a high standard of Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance on site
- Performing site calibration checks
- Leading in resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise on site
To be successful in this position you must:
- Have previous experience managing Civils Projects ideally experience in either Tunnelling or RC works.
- Have a proven track record of overseeing and leading civil engineering projects
- Possess a deep understanding of construction methods, Health & Safety, and legal regulations
- Hold a valid CSCS card
- Be flexible with the ability to travel nationwide
- Exhibit excellent communication skills with the capability to liaise effectively with the site-based team and Clients
- Have the skill to work effectively as part of a team and independently
- Demonstrate proven troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
