Job Title: Onboarding & Inductions Administrator – Hinkley Point C (HPC)
Reports to: Commercial Director and Project Director
Location: HPC Main Site Offices, Bridgwater, Somerset (with occasional travel to satellite offices)
Contract Type: Full‑time, Permanent (shift rota covering 07:00–17:30 Monday–Friday)
Role Purpose
To own the end‑to‑end onboarding and site‑induction process for all new employees, contingent workers, and visitors joining the Hinkley Point C project. You will be the primary point of contact for pre‑employment compliance, security vetting, induction scheduling, and first‑day readiness, ensuring every starter arrives fully authorized and safety‑aware in line with nuclear‑site license conditions.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Administration excellence: Proven track record handling high‑volume onboarding or HR administration in construction, infrastructure, or regulated environments.
- Regulatory awareness: Working knowledge of CSCS/CCNSG schemes, nuclear‑site license obligations, or equivalent high‑hazard industry rules.
- IT literacy: Confident user of MS Excel (pivot tables, lookups), SharePoint, ATS/LMS platforms; able to craft clear induction communications in Outlook/Teams.
- Attention to detail: Zero‑defect mentality when checking identity, vetting, and training evidence.
- Customer focus: Calm, friendly, and solutions‑oriented under tight mobilization deadlines.
- Security clearance eligibility: Able to obtain and maintain BPSS and CTC (UK residency and clean criminal record). Worked on site before is desirable.
