About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated drainage gangs to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and enjoys working as part of a professional construction and civil infrastructure team.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain drainage systems and pipelines.
- Read and interpret plans, specifications, and site drawings.
- Excavate trenches and prepare sites for drainage installation.
- Lay pipes and connect drainage networks to required standards.
- Conduct testing and inspections to ensure compliance and functionality.
- Operate and work safely around construction equipment and machinery.
- Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies.
- Work collaboratively with supervisors, contractors, and team members.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Drainlayer or in a similar civil construction role.
- Relevant drainage qualification or certification preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Strong understanding of drainage systems, pipe laying, and excavation methods.
- Excellent work ethic and reliability.
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
