Crawler Crane Operator
Manipulate and depress crane controls and carry out lifting operations in a safe manner, ensuring health and safety procedures are followed.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for carrying out lifting operations in a safe manner, ensuring health and safety procedures are followed
- Follow lifting plans set out by the AP/Lifting Supervisor
- Carry out regular inspections of the crane and maintain equipment
Qualifications / Training
- Blue CPCS – A62 Crawler Crane
- In‑date Safety Critical Medical (Desirable)
Experience
- Extensive experience operating Crawler Cranes
- Experience working on major tunnelling projects
- Knowledge of civil construction practices, lifting plant and equipment
- Knowledge of maintenance, inspection, thorough examination and testing requirements for lifting equipment and accessories
