BOURNE - PE10 COMPETITIVE RATE CONTRACT ASAP. The Joseph Gallagher Group is a family owned business that delivers expertise whilst putting client satisfaction at the core of the business. We are currently recruiting for several Tractor Drivers to join our team.

  • Machine Operation: Safely operating articulated or standard tractors with attachments (e.g., fuel/water bowsers, trailers, spreaders) on busy construction sites or industrial areas.
  • Material Handling: Transporting construction materials, rubble, or slurry, often under HGV regulations.
  • Site Maintenance: Supporting ground crews, performing grading, or spreading materials with rear‑mounted equipment.
  • Daily Checks & Maintenance: Conducting pre‑shift safety checks, cleaning, and routine maintenance of tractors and attachments, reporting any defects to supervisors.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhering to site health and safety protocols, including wearing PPE, monitoring ground conditions, and ensuring safe speed limits.

The successful candidate must have:

  • Valid CPCS (Construction Plant Competence Scheme) card (A33 Agricultural Tractor).
  • Clean driving license and HGV Class 1.
  • Experience in a construction or civil engineering environment is typically preferred over purely agricultural experience.
