We are seeking a qualified Level 7 SpLD Assessor or equivalent to join our college as an Exams Access Arrangements Coordinator and Assessor, playing a pivotal role in ensuring students with additional learning needs receive the appropriate support during examinations and assessments.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organise, manage and deliver internal and external examination access arrangements.
  • Ensure compliance with awarding body regulatory requirements (e.g., JCQ).
  • Work closely with teaching staff, support teams and external bodies to manage, assess and implement exams access arrangements.
  • Ensure every student has fair access to assessments in line with statutory guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Level 7 SpLD Assessment qualification or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in exam access arrangements is desirable.

Working Conditions

  • Part‑time, 3 days per week, term time only.
  • Opportunity to work 1 day per week away from the college site.

Salary

Up to point 13 on the Sixth Form College's Pay scale for support staff (currently £30,444 FTE, up to £15,555 pro‑rated), adjusted in line with hours and term‑time contract.
