Another exciting opportunity has arisen at our College. We are looking for a qualified, committed and inspirational professional to join us to teach a range of Health and Social Care courses BTEC Level 3 and AAQ's, to our Sixth Form students. The successful candidate will have an appropriate teaching qualification and be well-qualified to degree level in the subject.

Situated within easy reach of Birmingham City Centre, we are a highly successful and vibrant College, having been graded as 'outstanding' in all categories once again in February 2024 by Ofsted.

Our College excels in providing a broad, inclusive and high‑quality education to all of our learners, which has resulted in some of the highest levels of progression to Higher Education in the sector. In 2025, students at Joseph Chamberlain College achieved excellent exam results, as they have done for many years. You will be working in a state‑of‑the‑art building with superbly equipped classrooms and facilities, and will continue to grow in size due to demand. Salary, Start & Closing

  • Salary: The salary for this post is paid on the Sixth Form College Teacher's main scale, ranging from £33,465 - £51,714 per annum, dependent on experience.
  • Start Date: September 2026 or earlier if possible. If your start date is in September, the first day of work will be Thursday 20th August 2026, and you will be expected to work from this date to 31st August 2026, for which an additional payment will be made to you.
  • Closing date: Thursday 4th June 2026 (to arrive no later than 12 noon).
