Premier Galvanizing Hull, part of the Joseph Ash Group, are currently looking for a Goods In Operative/Administrator. This is a truly rewarding opportunity to join a company with amazing opportunities to grow and progress yourself both professionally and personally.

Your Day to Day:

  • General related admin and filing tasks such as POD, weigh bridge details, customer relations.
  • Preparing details for any jobs coming in out of hours.
  • Phone support at busy/peak times.
  • Delivery notes and all associated paperwork.
  • Daily trailer weights updated from shunter list and update any that are still required.
  • Logging of weights out on despatch and highlighting any discrepancies before the customer leaves site.
  • Reporting of health and safety issues to company standard.
  • Operation of weighbridge as and when weigh tickets are needed (such as zinc deliveries).
  • Face to face dealing with external customers all to be dealt with promptly and professionally.
  • Data entry, retrieval and database maintenance.
  • Filing & archiving.
  • Creating documents, spreadsheets.
  • Speaking to customers to answer queries and resolve issues.
  • Liaising with other departments within the company such as commercial, production & health and safety on various tasks.

What we offer:

  • Day time shifts rotate weekly as follows; Dayshift - 6am - 2.30pm, Backshift - 1.30pm - 10pm.
  • £12.71 per hour (plus an additional £8.00 per backshift).
  • A monthly production bonus, after probation period.
