Widnes Galvanizing, part of the Joseph Ash Galvanizing Group are looking for experienced Class C+E drivers
The role will involve delivering and collecting, to number of clients, a variety of raw steel and galvanized products of different shapes and sizes. Deliveries and collections are made to and from a variety of locations including; industrial estates, farms and businesses.
Daily Duties:
- Completing pre- use operational vehicle defect checks (Using the TN360 Mobile App Systems)
- Completing Load Safety Checks (Using the TN360 Mobile App Systems)
- Assisting with loading and unloading operations
- Being responsible for the safety of their load and ensuring its security with the use of Ratchet Straps
- Compliance with all current company & legal procedures & requirements.
- Will be required to driver CAT C vehicles as required.
What we need:
- Hold a current driving licence with the correct entitlement C+E
- A minimum of 12 months HGV driving experience
- No more than 6 unspent penalty points.
- They must hold a current driver Tachograph Card with less than 6 months of expiry
- Driver CPC Card with an expiry of less than 12 months.
