Joselyn Search are currently recruiting for a Hands-on Supervisor / Lead Maintenance Engineer to be based at a commercial building in Stratford. The successful candidate will be responsible for a building services apprentice, the daily running of the site and reporting into the client. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Facilities Maintenance and ideally be from an Electrical engineering background with strong all-round building services knowledge. This position would be ideal for a supervisor or Lead Engineer currently in a similar position who is keen on progression. In return, the company are offering a competitive salary in the region of £50,000 with a potential route into further career progression and management.
Key duties & Responsibilities
- Take the lead on site engineering team
- Carry out regular inspections of building systems
- Arrange specialist sub-contractors
- Ensure compliance with building & safety regulations
- Management of all site logbooks
- Ensure all paperwork is up to date and ready for audits
- Offer technical support across the contract
- Attend client meetings
- General Lighting
- Changing Ballasts
- Emergency Light Tests
- Small installations & Fault-finding
- AHUs, FCUs, and associated HVAC equipment
- Plumbing - Unblocking toilets, replacing taps, washers etc.

Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm
