An exciting opportunity to join an established building services company based in City of London has arisen! Joselyn Search are currently recruiting for an Electrical Shift Engineer to be based in St Pauls, City of London. The ideal candidate will have experience carrying out planned and reactive building maintenance within a large commercial building environment and will have a strong understanding of Facilities Maintenance with a proven track record in commercial building services. This position would be ideal for an Electrical Shift Engineer currently in a similar position who is keen on progression. In return the company are offering a competitive salary up to £53,000 with a potential route into further career progression.

Key duties & Responsibilities
  • To carry out PPM, reactive and breakdown works to all Electrical systems within the site
  • Operate and manage all engineering assets to support the business with no unplanned disruptions in the most cost-effective manner
  • Ensure that routine PPM is carried out to all electrical plant in accordance with Site task schedules
  • Ensure that plant faults and defects are swiftly remedied to maintain plant in serviceable order
  • Ensure that reactive tasks throughout the building are completed and be proactive in highlighting areas where improvements can be made
  • Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, etc)
  • Emergency lighting tests
  • Control Panels
  • Changing Ballast
  • BMS System - Monitor
  • Carry out all aspects of M&E/Fabric maintenance
  • Maintain and update Log books
Hours of Work & Package Info
  • Shift Engineer Basic Salary of up to £53,000
  • Shift Pattern - Day Shift - 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off
  • 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays
