The Technical Project Manager will use project management methodologies and best practices to deliver projects on time and within budget. He/she will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic team environment handling a varied portfolio of high visibility projects with many stakeholders and sometimes competing priorities. He/she will work closely with other infrastructure and application teams to design, plan and implement technical solutions including leading and directing project resources through to implementation, in a global data network environment.
The Reporting Relationship: The position reports to the IT PMO Manager.

- Good analytical skills, with strong attention to detail
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office including Project, Visio, Word and Excel are required. Familiarity with PPM tools.
- Must have a good understanding of ITIL

- Self-motivated with the ability to function independently with minimal supervision in a deadline driven work environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform project leadership functions, such as preparing project plans, monitoring and reporting on project progress, highlighting risks against the plan and desired solution, and mentoring team members;
- Communicate frequently with all project stakeholders to provide project status, risk analysis, technical recommendations and resource constraints that may impact strategic direction;
- Create, manage and update tasks, resource allocation and the overall project timeline;
- Manage multiple project budgets keeping a tight control on costs
- Provide subject matter expertise to the team throughout the project life cycle by acting as the liaison to the respective design, development, quality assurance and support teams;
- Support project implementations which often occur outside of standard business hours
- Gathers and reports daily/monthly team metrics for responsible projects;
- Perform related duties as assigned or requested.
