We are recruiting for a full time 48 hours a week Pastry Chef position available at JÖRO. This is a rare opportunity to join our team.

About us
In December 2024 Restaurant JÖRO moved to a new venue, Oughtibridge Mill, a renovated 18th Century paper mill in North Sheffield that is now our flagship MICHELIN Starred Restaurant with Rooms.
We are located on the Peak District border in the Oughtibridge Valley.
Our restaurant and Kitchen looks out over the forest and river – a view not many pastry sections will have!
We are ideally located 15 minutes from Sheffield City Centre, 40 Minutes from Leeds City Centre and 10 minutes from the M1.
Sheffield is right in the middle of England and is fantastic for access to just about anywhere across the country.
We are expanding our team and currently have a Pastry Chef position available, for a candidate who enjoys or would like to pursue a role in a tasting menu only kitchen.

JÖRO was created by Luke & Stacey back in 2016 and has gone from strength to strength in its current home.
JÖRO has gone on to be awarded many accolades and features in all guides, Top 100 Restaurant lists in the UK, as well as European recognition in the OAD lists.

Our Menu
Our food is all about flavour and we take huge inspiration from Eastern Asian cooking techniques and produce as well as from the Nordic regions, resulting in a truly unique concept, hailed as a destination restaurant and ultimate chef haven!
We have spent many years building relationships with the very producers across the UK and we are proud to work with and use the very best.
We also run our own fermentation & foraging programme with all of our team actively involved.
We encourage no waste and sustainable approaches to cooking and our team are passionate about their development of this.
Our restaurant seats 40 covers and we serve Dinner Wednesday- Saturday. With Lunch available Thursday – Sunday.

- Salary starting at £32,000.00pa with additional service charge, which is a Tronc system giving an overall annual salary of circa £40,000.00+
- Working closely with Chef Director Luke French and Head Chef Alex Bruno.
