About the Role
JORECRUITMENT is recruiting Classroom Support Staff to work in partnership with schools and academies. These roles involve supporting learning under the direction of qualified teachers, helping pupils to engage with lessons and maintain positive behaviour.
Key Responsibilities
- Support pupils’ learning and engagement
- Work under the direction of the class teacher
- Support behaviour and classroom routines
- Assist with inclusion and SEN support (where applicable)
- Promote safeguarding and pupil welfare
Requirements
- Experience working with children or young people
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions and lesson plans
- Understanding of safeguarding in education
- Flexibility and reliability
Desirable
- Previous TA, SEN TA or Cover Supervisor experience
- SEN training or experience (for SEN roles)
