As a Healthcare Assistant at various care homes across Swindon, you'll help to provide our residents exceptional all-round care and support.
Providing cover for any planned or unplanned absences, you'll help to get to know our residents and enhance their experience.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and ensuring the well-being of residents.
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Empathy and dedication to patient care and recovery
- Indate and Clean DBS
- Full mandatory care training - completed within the last year.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and eating
- Support in the implementation of care plans under the supervision of healthcare professionals
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the care team
- Maintain accurate records of care provided
- Drive to appointments or outings when required
- Utilize IT systems for documentation and reporting
Skills
- Experience or willingness to work in a care home environment
- Proficiency in English for effective communication with residents and colleagues
- Knowledge of care plans and willingness to learn and implement them
- Basic IT skills for record keeping and reporting
- Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate compassionately with residents and their families
As this is a temporary position to provide cover as and when we need it, such as for annual leave or sick leave, the hours and days you work will vary.
