We are currently urgently recruiting for Kitchen Assistants & Kitchen Porters for ongoing shifts in a mixed secondary school and sixth form located in the Highgate area of Birmingham. For this role you must hold a DBS on the update service and have a level 2 food hygiene certificate.

Job Role: Kitchen Assistant

Hourly rate: 12.60 per hour PAYE

Job Type: Temporary

Hours Of Work: 11:30am to 3pm / 10am to 4:15pm (must be flexible)

Location: Highgate area of Birmingham

Job Description:

  • Assisting cook in meal preparation.
  • Assisting with basic food preparation activities, including washing, peeling, cutting vegetables.
  • Setting up dining areas by arranging chairs, tables etc.
  • Cleaning and sanitizing all tableware.
