JORECRUITMENT is recruiting Pastoral Support Staff to work with schools and academies, supporting pupils’ wellbeing, behaviour and engagement with learning. These roles focus on emotional, behavioural and social support, working alongside teaching and safeguarding teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide pastoral and emotional support to pupils
  • Support behaviour interventions and engagement strategies
  • Work with vulnerable pupils and those with additional needs
  • Liaise with teaching, SEN and safeguarding staff
  • Maintain accurate records and reports

Requirements

  • Experience working with children or young people
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to manage challenging behaviour calmly
  • Understanding of safeguarding and child protection
  • Ability to follow school policies and procedures

Desirable

  • Experience in pastoral, youth work, mentoring or care settings
