Are you available for interim assignment? We are looking for experienced Income Recovery Officers. This will be on a temporary 3 monthly ongoing basis. Hybrid, 4 days per week in their Rugby offices. Full time, 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday paying £17.59 per hour (PAYE) equivalent to approx. £34K salary or £23.33 (umbrella). Key Responsibilities: * Manage rent accounts within an assigned area, ensuring consistent and professional communication with tenants. * Conduct outreach to discuss rent payments, arrears, and arrange manageable payment plans. * Provide support to tenants facing financial challenges, connecting them with relevant welfare and support services as needed. * Collaborate with tenancy support and welfare teams to sustain tenancies and reduce arrears. * Prepare reports and maintain accurate records to support the council’s income collection goals. Requirements: * Proven experience in income collection, housing management, or a related field. * Strong communication and negotiation skills. * Ability to work independently and effectively within a team. * Experience working with vulnerable individuals and providing support in challenging situations.
